Great minds drink alike
2008 Crios Torrontes wins a trophy gold
Argentina's wine award winners were announced yesterday and this
Andrea's A-list favorite won a trophy and gold medal. Not bad for an
under-$15 wine. I got to judge with 18 panelists from the US, UK,
Portugal and Canada, in a blind comparison of more than 500
Argentinian wines. This wine got one of my top marks. Lychee,
tangerine, honeysuckle and peach flavors, tongue tingling acidity and
a great price!
